«I thought this was the perfect gift to thank our son’s hockey coach for his great job! After calling the others parents of the team, I retrieved the photos of everybody and created our hockeyteam photo book. The first purpose of this book was to thank our coach, but it finally ended with each kid having his own book, personalized with his own name.»

Original photos may sometimes be heavy and can not be sent on email. So, I invited the other parents to send me their picture using the free photo sharing website Picasaweb, which I protected with a password so the pictures cannot run free on the web. All parents were able to send me their favorite pictures from the last hockey season.

To introduce my project to the parents, I wrote a detailed letter about my project, explaining how it works and what I would need. I asked for their participation in order to get a maximum photos and infos on our little players. I gave them the letter at the arena.

Once the coach copy was done, I used an option available on Bookdesigner to personalize the books first page. Using this option, I easily edited the first page of the book so everyone could receive a book with his own name and picture on the first page.
