My Photo book / Shopping week end in New York City

last fall, we spent a week end in New York City with our friends and we did a photo book to recall this nice week end. We took lots of pictures despite the fact that the week end originally was planned for shopping only. I created a custom photobook and I was able to add all the content and pictures I needed.

MY EXPERIENCE

GATHERING PICTURES OF THE GROUP

That was the most difficult part as pictures were taken using cell phones, digital cameras and even camcorders. Once the pictures were shared on Facebook and Picasa, I gathered all pictures and started to sort them. I was able to re-create our New York trip in pictures.

I used my friends' pictures to create my photo book and generated nice layouts.

ADDING CAPTIONS AND COMMENTS

My friends were asked to comment their pictures, giving a more personal touch to the book. We were a group of 7 and that is never easy to organize such work.

I found a way to do it well using Picasa web:
I created an online album and I shared it to my friends. Each one was able to add comments on pictures. I just did a copy and paste and the job was done!
