The policy covers all personal information collected by PhotoInPress, is affiliated companies, and PhotoInPress.

This personal information is collected from the photo website for PhotoInPress during any other contact entered into with PhotoInPress by telephone, mail or other means regarding PhotoInPress products and services.

The policy also covers certain information we collect from our partners for the provision of services or when you have consented to the sharing of your personal data. The policy is subject to Quebec's Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector, as well as other applicable legislation and regulations.

We collect certain personal information and create a file on our clients, website users and anyone else who communicates with us, in particular when they purchase our services, take advantage of our offers, discounts or benefits, sign up to receive our newsletter or email notification about our online flyer, request information or participate in a contest or promotional activity.

Please note that for some photo development services, certain specific rules apply to the collection, use, communication and retention of your personal information. You will be notified of these specific rules when such information is collected. When services are provided by an entity other than PhotoInPress, it is your responsibility to find out about that organization's privacy policy. Although the services may be provided by an entity other than PhotoInPress, certain information you provide may also be shared with PhotoInPress in order to deliver services or to retain and process information. Please note that promotional contests are always subject to specific rules, which are more fully described in the contest rules available through our website or other sources.

We may sometimes collect information that is not of a personal nature, such as the type of Internet browser or operating system you use or the domain name from which you were linked to our website.

PhotoInPress will keep personal information for a reasonable period of time until it fulfills the objectives set forth or as required by law, whichever is longer. When personal information is no longer required to reach the objectives set forth or if a person has requested that we delete his or her information, it will be made anonymous or it will be destroyed in a manner that will protect it from unauthorized access or disclosure. We never divulge your personal information to anyone outside PhotoInPress without your consent, with the exception of:

• Organizations in our group or those connected with PhotoInPress
• Our suppliers of products and services, organizations or persons hired to perform certain duties on our behalf (e.g. providers of photo development services, those that organize and manage PhotoInPress photo promotions, data processing, and electronic payment providers or record management suppliers, etc.) PhotoInPress takes all necessary contractual or other measures to ensure that third-party providers of goods and services use your personal information only for purposes of providing you or PhotoInPress with these goods and services they provide the personal information in their possession with a comparable level of protection to that provided by PhotoInPress.
• Any entity resulting from a merger or change of control of PhotoInPress, in whole or in part, and only if the parties enter into an agreement under which the collection, use, and disclosure of information is limited to the objectives of the business transaction
• Any entity resulting from a merger or change in control of PhotoInPress, in whole or in part, provided that the parties enter into an agreement that this information will only be collected, used or communications as part of the identified commercial purposes.

• We will not disclose your personal information to a promotional partner without your express consent to do so.

Email addresses or other personal information provided to your friends to invite them to participate in a contest, promotion or to give them a link to our website, if any, are not being collected and are no retained by PhotoInPress, unless they themselves we have provided their personal information and have agreed to receive communications from us.

The information on our website is not intended for children under the age of 13. PhotoInPress will under no circumstances collect information on such children without the express consent of their parents or guardians.

Our websites may include links to other websites operated by other businesses. By clicking on these links, you are exiting photoinpress.ca. Sites linked in this way are not under the control of PhotoInPress and their being linked to our website does not, in any way, make PhotoInPress responsible for them. Any personal information you provide via these websites is subject to the privacy policies of these websites.

From time to time, PhotoInPress may change this policy. Please review it periodically. A notice of change will be posted at the beginning of this policy when changes are made to it.
